Adela Kaczmarek is a director. In the years 2003–2008 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. "Zatoka," her graduation film, won the Special Prize at the OFAFA Festival in Krakow and the Main Prize at the Pole Widzenia festival in Toruń. In 2012, she directed her film debut "Słońce w pełni" and also created the animated documentary "O rządach miłości," which won several awards. In 2018, she directed a medium-length documentary with animation elements called "Janka." It won the Grand Prix for Polish film at the HumanDOC Festival in Warsaw and a Special Award at the Cinema with Soul festival in Warsaw.
